When you reintroduce foods, stick to those with a soft texture to begin with such as eggs, yoghurt or soup. You can also liquidise food or cut it up very small before you eat it. Eat well to aid your body’s healing and you will soon be able to progress to more solid food. Once healing is complete, you will be able to enjoy a full diet again.
